This is an all-cello Baroque play-in of many of the private students of Ravenna Michalsen, a cellist and cello-teacher based in Westville. The cellists cheerfully played three- and four-part pieces from the 16th through the 18th century and did a great job! Hopefully, they’ll play at the Farmer’s Market in September!
The photos were taken by Marvin Michalsen, Ravenna’s father. He wrote: “I have loved New Haven since moving to the area in 1964. An Architect by profession, I always bring my camera on travels, and I also enjoy photographing my two daughters.”
