It is in New Haven’s spirit that when some social issue arises some person or group of persons become active in an effort to find a solution. Whatever people think the solution is may differ but there is a near universal understanding that the number of accessible jobs that pay enough to live on are at issue for residents of the city. On Tuesday evening New Haven Rising, one group working on the issue, brought together people from around the city to discuss its findings from an effort to educate and inquire that had recently finished. They also laid out their approach to begin taking next steps.
