Complete with winding hiking trails and pristine lakes covering Orange and West Haven CT, the Maltby Lakes area is a great place to visit. A group of lucky children from Kensington Square Apartments visited Maltby Lakes in West Haven CT. Stacy Spell, community life coordinator showed the children how to fish. For some, it was their first fishing trip.
Lighthouse Point Park 7/30/14
On July 30, a group of residents enjoyed the day at Lighthouse Point Park. The park has lots of green grass to play on, water to splash in and a carousel to ride on. Water and delicious snacks such as fruit and granola bars were donated by the Yale University Hospital for park-goers to enjoy while running back and forth to the water to escape summer’s heat. The Community Builders, Inc.-owned Kensington Square Apartments worked with the City of New Haven to get transportation to and from Lighthouse Park on city school buses.
