New Haven Reads is a wonderful organization that I volunteer for. They have a book bank, a collection of donated books which are free for members of the community. And also, they have a volunteer tutoring program, which is what I participate in. New Haven Reads tutors over 500 kids a week of all ages, up to seniors in high school. I really appreciate everything New Haven Reads has done to our community, and I highly recommend that others volunteer there as well. They are in need of more tutors, especially as their program gets more attention! And, if you can’t be a tutor, you can help in other ways, like donating to the book bank! Please check out New Haven Reads on 45 Bristol St., and help out our community by volunteering and donating books!
