Over one thousand people gathered on October 21st in support of GESO, the graduate student union at Yale, and its fight for formal recognition by Yale University.
For me, those photos serve as a highlight of the humanity that is often forgotten in such an event. Ordinary people becoming extraordinary by taking a stance for their hopes. The simplest, yet most powerful form of bravery there is.
