These photos were taken at the Knights of Columbus printing plant. The facility employs 23 people and produces 6 million pieces of mail each year. A few things stood out during my visit, first of which was how much the employees I spoke with enjoyed their jobs and working there. Another thing was how cool some of the machines are including the ability to print, fold, cut, bind etc… It takes a lot of ingenuity to create machines that can do those functions. Below are some of the photos I’ve taken during my visit.

This is an interesting wood floor where they install 3 inch long pieces vertically. The reason is that when a normal horizontal wood floor is installed, it allows sound to travel. |
