Below are images from Celebrate our Dixwell a pop up festival which connects to the Festival of Arts and Ideas. Several years ago these pop ups were begun to connect the larher festival to parts of the New Haven community that Arts and Ideas didn’t seem to necessarily reach. They have become a signifier of the larger festival’s arrival and a source of fun and community for all.
