Hey New Haveners! Lucy here, with a very short post this week. Wednesday night marked A New Beginning: exhibit + sale to benefit CAW at Ordinary. The idea was simple enough: bartender and Ordinary guru Tim Cabral likes fine art, especially when it comes in multiple dimensions. So do artists Lianne Audette and Sam Shevelkin, who work at Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) on Audubon Street. If they joined forces, the three reckoned, they could put on a pretty amazing exhibition-cum-fundraiser
That’s exactly what happened. Here are just a few photos from the event. Shevelkin’s work is up at the front of the bar through April as well, so viewers can get their visual fill of his funky and formally beautiful ceramics until late April.
