Portraits in and of New Haven – Alejandro Ulloa

My name is Alejandro Ulloa originally from Managua, Nicaragua. I am a professional ballet and contemporary dancer as well as teacher and choreographer. Currently dancing with Connecticut Ballet and New England Ballet.

It wasn’t until recently that I discovered my passion for photography. I decided to take my passion one step further and bought my first camera. As an amature I decided to learn more about this art form. I watched endless tutorials on youtube, read books, and then finally tested my abilities taking some shots. My first picture was captured in the beautiful New Haven, Connecticut. Since then I have found myself spending most of my time in New Haven photographing it’s people, buildings and scenic views. 

I am thrilled to be part of “I love New Haven”, and look forward to collaborating with other artists.
