Hey there, New Haveners – and happy 2018! In celebrating the first week of the new year, I took a page from intrepid New Haven Independent reporters (and friends) Tom Breen and Markeshia Ricks and suited up to try to find a story out in the snow. After the much-awaited (and maligned) “bomb cyclone’ hit Thursday morning, I trekked out to parts of East Rock and Downtown with my camera to see what I could find. Here are a few shots.
I’m sorry, personally, to the rest of New Haven — the plan was to keep going, out to Westville or down Congress Avenue, and I just got too cold! Stay warm and dry out there, readers!
