Le Diner en Blanc is an elegant large-scale pop-up picnic that originated in Paris (1988) and takes place in a secret location in a different city. Patrons are asked to register, then get ready. The rules are simple bring own table chairs and table fixings and wear only white and be fabulous. The Diner en Blanc – New Haven was held at Temple Plaza. You can see people downtown, New Haven marching with wagons baskets in their all white. Upon arrival a sea of white in the plaza all unique being serenaded by a live band and live entertainment. The party lasted into the night with dancing with sparklers and more dancing. Can’t wait to see how they top this next year…. at a secret location. This event is sponsored by Iheartradio, Champagne Pommery, City of New Haven, Valenti Maserati, and Cambria Hotel New Haven
