The post could be titled “Where We Park.” Blakeslee Prestress started as a family business back in 1844. They were located in New Haven on Sargent Drive before locating to Branford. They build prestressed concrete pieces mainly for parking garages but also for structures (Yale dorm/ mixed use buildings). Their pieces are in most of the parking structures in New Haven so this is a behind the scenes look at how and where they are made. See some of their photos a the bottom of this post to see some of the buildings in New Haven they worked on.
