Green Drinks is a monthly happy hour and networking opportunity for anyone interested in the environment. There is a brief talk after a period of socializing on any number of topics related to the environment or green businesses. Frequently held on a rotating basis at a bar downtown.
Last night’s Green Drinks was hosted by Aaron Goode and Christopher Zurcher at Next Step Living, a home energy solutions company located in the Mill River neighborhood.
Next Step Living offers a range of services including a home energy audit which is subsidized by the electric company and for about $75.00 to the homeowner, they pressure test your home looking for leaks, caulk windows, change light bulbs to CFLs or LEDs and provide discounts for insulation and replacement windows. You can easily recoup the $75 fee from the services they provide and the energy savings thereafter.
