It was too rainy to do a person on the street series, so I needed an alternate plan. My friend Vanessa turned me on to this exhibit currently on display which I decided to check out.
You probably have seen those 19 examples of lifelike sculpture circulating around the internet lately. They’re very cool. You can actually see three similar sculptures in real life right here in New Haven at the Yale University Art Gallery. They’re on display on the 4th floor until March and part of the Still Life: 1970’s Photorealism Exhibit. It’s definitely worth a visit to see in real life.

Are these alive or sculpture, or both? They asked me to take a photo of them with their cell phone, which is something I love to do for groups and couples. |
