The New Haven Police Activity League (PAL) (wwwnewhavenpal.com) is a community-focused organization dedicated to fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the youth of New Haven, Connecticut. By offering a variety of programs—including boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, basketball clinics, baking classes, and a summer camp—PAL provides children and teens with opportunities for personal growth, discipline, and fun. Their mission emphasizes character development and community engagement, aiming to create lasting, positive impacts on participants.
One notable initiative is PAL’s partnership with the New York Rangers to bring the T.E.A.M. Hockey program to New Haven. This collaboration introduces local youth to the sport of hockey, promoting teamwork and physical fitness. The program recently celebrated the conclusion of another successful season at Ingalls Rink, highlighting PAL’s commitment to providing diverse and enriching experiences for the community’s youth.
