Since I and the New Haven Independent broke the story earlier this week, it’s been very much on my mind: 105-year-old ACME is closing. It’s Crown Street building will take on a new life. And Robert Greenberg, grandson of the original founder, will need to find a new place for his expansive collection of objects “made in New Haven.” Last week, I joined Robert in his office to shoot photos for the NHI. Here are some of the hundreds that didn’t make it into that story, but did document the collection in time.
