Documenting “change” is one of the major by-products of photography.
Even if a photograph was simply taken for interest, for art, for fun;
the photo cannot help but document the particular moment,
and allows us to observe any transition, at a later date…

I know the digital sign is more efficient and reliable, but I miss the flippity-flip noises the old mechanical sign at the train station made when changing the information displayed.
