This is Mike Angelis. Mike lives around the corner from me on William Street and is an art teacher as well as a very talented painter. He received a BFA from Purchase College and a Master’s in Art Education from Columbia.
For the last several years, Mike has focused on painting underpasses in New Haven. He is particularly interested in the neighborhoods and communities that were pushed aside (bulldozed) in order to move larger and larger volumes of traffic.
