TeamSuperKick’z is mainly composed of talented performance artists from New Haven Coop Arts and Humanities Magnet High School students known for their Jerkin’ style of street dance and music. Jerk emerged out of a popular L.A. street dance with origins in break dancing and hip hop and has only recently gained popularity on the East Coast. TeamSuperKick’z has been well received in a variety of venues including Toads Place, Downtown Open Mike, Pocket Wireless’ Marketing Campaign, featured in other artists’ videos (Stop Pause and Lady Rock), Club Static, Wireless Wizard’s Marketing Campaign, as well as Sweet 16s, private parties, and parades.
