Yesterday was the 40th Wooster Square Cherry Blossom Festival. That’s pretty cool. The festival was put on and organized by the Historic Wooster Square Association ( www.historicwoostersquare.org). Although the nature’s timing and the festival’s timing weren’t in sync this year, there was one little tree at the end of the park which actually did have blossoms; a trendsetter, perhaps.
You can track the progress of the budding blossoms on www.woostersquareblossom.blogspot.com, which is a frequently updated blog run by Bart and Cheryl Szcarba.
