On a rainy Saturday a very large crowd gathered to march for science. They gathered in East Rock Park in New Haven and some estimates put the crowd size at around two thousand participants. The crowd had many familiar faces of activists from many causes but as we have seen in recent months there were many who are new to the world of ongoing activism and that is perhaps what made the fact that it was a rainy afternoon and still the crowd was as large as it was so special.
