YaleDancers invited me to photograph a special promotional session ahead of their spring performance, and the results were electric. We ended up with these stunning black and white dance photos.
We transformed the space into one of motion and light—where every leap, turn, and gesture told part of a larger story. The dancers brought intensity and elegance to every frame, showing off both technical precision and raw emotion. Each image captures not just movement, but momentum—the sense that something powerful is unfolding.
This shoot was a true collaboration, built on trust, experimentation, and shared creative energy. The dancers were fully present and fearless, and together we pushed for moments that felt both intimate and expansive. The final photos celebrate the artistry and spirit that define YaleDancers, and I’m proud to have contributed visuals that reflect the strength of their community and the beauty of their performance.
