Guns Down Fists Up, a New Haven boxing competition/fundraiser, happened Saturday night at Hillhouse High School. There were twelve really exciting fights featuring New Haven youth, and a few hundred people in attendance. Most of the boxers were from one of two local gyms here in the City, Elephant in the Room Boxing (www.eirboxing.com) and Boxing in Faith (www.boxinginfaithgym.org. Check them out!

| This young lady is six years old and she seemed more obsessed with photography than I am, and kept snapping and snapping away. Her mom told me that she usually uses a cell phone camera, but Saturday was a special treat and she got her own disposable. I’m trying to get her as a Wednesday Guest Photographer soon. That would be neat! |
