I love Art. I love Space (inner and outer). This Friday is the big kickoff opening reception for City-Wide Open Studios (CWOS) at Artspace. CWOS is an annual three-week long series of events featuring the best and brightest of New Haven’s local arts scene. Come to Artspace on October 5th from 5:00PM-8:00PM and see the work of almost 300 local artists on display. The collection at Artspace will include one piece from every participating artist in CWOS.
I’ve attended many CWOS in the past (this is the 15th year), but I am particularly excited this year because I am participating as an artist for the first time. I only started taking photos two years ago, but I love photography. It is the only thing that subjugates me and frees me, both at the same time.
I will be showing some of my English Station, Winchester Building, and New Haven Register series on the third weekend in the New Haven Register Building. Come and hang out with me this Friday at Artspace and check out the photo that I’ve contributed to the ensemble. For more info about CWOS click HERE
