So what is InspireYale? InspireYale is a group of undergraduates (and me) that want to promote happiness at Yale University and in New Haven. We believe that a better world will exist if people are inspired to make happiness a priority, embrace a more creative approach to leadership, and feel empowered to drive positive social change. This semester, the InspireYale team is organizing free art workshops and speaker events open to the Yale and New Haven community, in which participants rediscover and develop their creativity. Come to InspireYale’s next events! *Friday, October 19th, 2-5pm: Painting workshop with artist Carmen Lund *Saturday, November 10th, 2-5pm: Photography workshop with photographer Chris Randall

The photos in this post are from our first workshop, which was a photography walk that I led last Saturday. Twenty-two of us with cameras in hand walked from Phelps Gate, up Chapel Street, through Edgewood Avenue Park, and down Whalley back to Yale. Everyone had a lot of fun discovering new parts of New Haven and taking lots of photos along the way.

Is there a website where we can read more about InspireYale and they list their events? A simple google search comes up with an InspireYale site that hasn't been updated since June…
Thanks!
